Company Overview

Founded in 2001, Zhejiang Shengyu Electrical Co., Ltd. is located in Shuige Economic Development Zone, Liandu District, Lishui, Zhejiang Province. We manufacture GFCIs, USB outlets, regular receptacles, switches, wall plates and electrical accessories for markets including the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America.

The company occupies approximately 20,000 square metres, represents a total investment of RMB 50 million, employs more than 200 people and reports annual sales revenue exceeding RMB 160 million.

In 2020, the company established the Yiwu sales branch Zhejiang Sanmao Technology Co., Ltd.; company materials state that Sanmao ranked fifth in Yiwu electronic consumer goods sales volume in 2021. A Los Angeles branch was established in 2023 to support customers.

Quality and Customer Service

Shengyu places product quality and customer experience first. Our quality-control system covers raw-material procurement, production control and finished-product delivery. ISO 9001 quality-management certification and international product-safety records support the applicable operations and product families. Technical support and after-sales teams respond throughout product selection, application and service.

Product Development

Since developing a GFCI with automatic monitoring and end-of-life indication in 2006, and adding regular self-test functions in 2015 in response to UL 943 requirements, Shengyu has continued to advance safety locks, leakage-current monitoring and reverse-miswiring protection. Company materials report 13 Chinese invention patents, 16 Chinese utility-model patents and 17 U.S. invention patents. Three supporting patent records are currently available in our website evidence centre. Product certification is stated only for the models and files covered by each record.

Future Goals

Shengyu plans to increase research and development in intelligent electrical protection, continue improving product safety and smart functionality, strengthen environmental management, promote clean-energy use and pursue lower-carbon production and more efficient resource use.
